  2. The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Training Classes:  Lay leadership courses for 2024.  
    These classes will be held in person at Canterbury CollegeClasses are from 10:00 am - 2:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.

    The first session is scheduled for September 25 at 7PM
    This workshop began in Devan Munn's 2024 summer ministry at the Lutheran & Anglican Ministries of the Bruce Peninsula (LAAMB). A number of workshops were held in the summer and, as our practice strengthened, there was an appetite for more. We are delighted to share Devan's gifts with the Diocese and learn together this fall. 
    Lectio divina or "divine reading" is a contemplative practice for reading scripture which emphasizes a four-fold movement of prayerfully and intentionally reading, reflecting, responding to, and resting in the text. MORE INFO HERE

    Our Parish Theologian, The Rev'd Canon Dr. Timothy Connor, will be leading a three-part series beginning this Fall, The Legacy of Anglicanism - Difficult, Delightful, Deep. 
    The first part of the series 'The Difficult Legacy' begins on Wednesday, October 16 (in late Pentecost) and will continue for three successive Wednesday evenings, ending on November 6.  The sessions will run from 7:00 - 8:45 pm.
    Part two of the series, 'The Delightful Legacy' will begin in January 2025, with part three, 'The Deep Legacy' beginning in October 2025.
