- The Church of Saint Bartholomew Sarnia will be hosting Artworks24 for our redevelopment project in support of affordable housing.
When: Saturday June 8, 2024, from 9 am-5 pm. Where: The Church of Saint Bartholomew 718 Cathcart Blvd (across from Oak Acres Plaza) This is a juried art show and sale. - Gianna Home is hosting a fundraising garage sale on Friday, June 14 (afternoon/evening) and Saturday, June 15 (morning/afternoon) at 532 Sarnia St., Wyoming.

- Trinity Anglican Church, Durham is celebrating 175 years in ministry.
Trinity is the oldest church and congregation in Durham. Trinity's first service was held in 1849. In the coming months, Trinity will be hosting multiple events to celebrate Please join us for our first event on June 16 at 11:00am, a 175th Anniversary Service with Bishop Todd Townshend. A light lunch will follow.

The children of St. John’s, featuring the St. John’s Recorder Quartet, will present Good Masters! Sweet Ladies! Voices from a Medieval Village by Newbery Medalist Laura Amy Schlitz. Donations to the Anglican Foundation’s Say Yes! To Kids campaign will be welcomed, to raise funds for the Camp Huron bursary program.
- EVENTS AT ST. PAUL’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, PORT DOVER:
Please join Bishop Barry Clarke and the members of St. Paul's Parish Council at a traditional "Welcome to Newcomers" garden party on Saturday, June 15 at 4:00 p.m. at 27 Somerset Drive in Port Dover. Refreshments and a light meal will be served. Please bring a lawn chair. At St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Port Dover the Corporate Men’s Breakfast group will be serving breakfast at 9:00 a.m., for parishioners and guests, on the first Saturday of each month. On the last Sunday of each month, after the 10:00 a.m. service they will prepare lunch for parishioners and their invited guests. Everyone is welcome, and the meals are complimentary. These meals will be served each month except in July and August.

In this position, you will be responsible for a range of duties including developing lesson plans, assigning homework, responding to issues, and addressing children/youth needs. Employment requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent qualifications. - A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role (if possible). - Proven experience as an educator is advantageous (if possible). - Becoming an active Church member. - Good understanding of planning and developing lesson plans. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other social media.
